Meet Kiley Kelly, Long Island Dog Trainer

CK9 Standard is built around a simple goal: clear communication, consistent structure, and training that holds up in real life. Kiley works with you and your dog as a team -- building skills that translate to calm behavior at home, better manners on walks, and reliability around distractions.

As an approved AKC evaluator, Kiley can test and certify your dog for official AKC titles:
  • Canine Good Citizen (CGC) -- The gold standard for well-mannered dogs. A 10-step test covering commands, manners, and composure around people and other dogs.
  • S.T.A.R. Puppy -- A puppy socialization and training program (Socialization, Training, Activity, Responsible owner) that sets puppies up for lifelong success.
  • Community Canine (CGCA) -- The advanced CGC, tested in real-world settings like parks, stores, and busy sidewalks -- not just a training ring.
  • Urban CGC (CGCU) -- Proves your dog can handle urban environments: elevators, crosswalks, crowds, and city distractions with calm, reliable behavior.

Training Philosophy

  • Clear expectations + consistent follow-through
  • Confidence-building that reduces stress and chaos
  • Real-life training: walks, thresholds, greetings, and daily routines
  • Owner education so results last long after sessions end
